UPDATE: Triple Homicide Suspect Captured in Arkansas

ARKANSAS — UPDATE: A triple homicide suspect who was being sought by Arkansas State Police has been captured, police say.

Stacy Lee Drake, 50, was found in a wooded area in Morrilton, Arkansas on June 20 and arrested after a two-day manhunt.

He was booked into the Conway County Detention Center for his alleged connection to homicides and carjackings in Oklahoma as well as felony warrants for robbery, carjacking and murder from multiple locations, according to Arkansas State Police.

An Alabama man wanted in connection with three Oklahoma homicides is being sought by Arkansas State Police.

Stacey Lee Drake’s most recent siting was outside a motel room in Morrilton, Arkansas, which is about 50 miles northwest of Little Rock.

The trio of homicides Drake is wanted for are connected to two carjackings in Oklahoma.

Drake, 50, of Birmingham, Alabama, was on foot and is considered armed and dangerous, according to an Arkansas State Police news release issued this morning.

Other law enforcement agencies are assisting Arkansas State Police in the search for Drake, who has “multiple felony warrants,” including for aggravated robbery, carjacking and murder.

Drake’s described as a 5-foot-11 white male weighing 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Arkansas State Police urge people to immediately call 911 if they see Drake.
